Signs that spring is truly here for me:
1) I have this mad desire to launder everything...curtains, furniture covers (the original ones...not throws), cushions, doilies, bedspreads, duvets, bedskirts! You name it, I want to wash it!
2) I rearrange the kitchen cupboards...vaccuum, then wipe them all out (inside/outside), and then I put everything away in a different location than it has been in since last spring. This results in chaos...but hey, it's clean chaos!
3) I want clutter, garbage, and recycling gone...NOW!
4) My children get an education on what to and how to dust! "Mom! Who is ever going to check the tops of the bedroom doors?!" "Why do I have to dust my pictures...no one is ever in my room but me!" ETC.
5) I start looking at showhomes...get dissatisfied with what I have until I get home...and realize that as nice as showhomes are, they are not REAL homes.
BTW, I shrunk some of the original furniture covers...so I either need to recover OR I can go shopping! It's a good thing, I can buy now and pay later! Some of the cushions split at the seams...so yep, new cushions needed too. My husband thinks spring cleaning costs a lot!! LOL
